We are a primary and lower secondary school called ZŠ a MŠ Barvířská.



Our school is situated in the centre of the city Liberec (100 000 inhabitants) in the north of the Czech Republic. Our school´s name comes from the name of the street where it is - Barvířská street. There are 9 grades for pupils from 6 to 15 years old, every class has 20 - 30 children. We also have a kindergarten for children 3 - 6 years old.



For long years, our school has been focused on teaching sports, mostly football, and we still have many successful sportsmen among students, but recenty the focus has moved on to the teaching of languages (English and in higher grades also German).
